|History Tidbit|: . The founder, Kate Brosnahan Spade, set out to design the perf handbag during the year of 1993. Kate was going to use only six silhouettes for the collection. She created a combo of sleek, utilitarian shapes and colorful palettes. Kate's innovative designs would soon be seen all over the world. The first Kate Spade shop opened in 1996 in NYC.
Kate Spade NY is known for its quirky, cool, graphic prints. This collection is nothing but cool colors, rad bags and playful combos. I find Spade's collection to be very modern for any woman whether you're a college student, working gal, or mom! Her line showcases all these things. Some of the pieces are very sporty and let's not forget those handbags! Ready for the on-the-go woman or casual daytime. The bags are colorful and add extra sass to your outfit.

1. What is the concept behind your blogs title "Pretty Haute"?
Honestly, I started calling myself Pretty Haute when I created a MySpace profile back in 2007. Then when people I did not personally saw me out in public, they would always refer to me as Pretty Haute. It was a name that just stuck with me.

Today, I discovered a new online shopping site called Choies. It is a street style online shop that offers unique, trendy, and seasonal clothing for it's customer. A Choies banner that was displayed on a fav blogger of mine (FromHatstoHeels) caught my attention. Choies offers great discounts and reasonable pricing on their clothing. You earn points from sign up and creating your profile...$15 ! That's great! Also each time you shop you earn rebate points! Currently I'm in the stage of gaining my VIP status on the site. This is one site that will be having my fashion business for a while! Below are a few thing on my Choies wishlist, if you like some things I've chose just click the link. Also the Choies banner is to the right of my blog. Check them out!
These mesh peep toe heels seem so cool for the incoming fall. The mesh material is a breathable fabric for my feet and will be a cool statement shoe if I'm going for that rocker glam look. Just check out the skull head on the side and the gold zipper detail. Get it here.
Cutout booties have been seen everywhere but they just cost so much if you're going for the high-end designer price. Luckily on Choies it is so reasonable and looks to have great quality fabric. Get it here.
I love pullovers now for some reason. The religious picture is a great added touch as well. The angel print have been spotted from t-shirts to skirts and I simply must-have one. Get it here.
Aww! The two piece suits! This oil painting suit caught my eye from it's bold and sensual colors. I love color to be added in my outfits and this definitely would be a go-to piece. Get it here.

Lo' and behold the Brit singer Jessie J returns and with a platinum blonde hairstyle! Jessie J's music is the century soulful pop of the modern times. She graces the cover of Marie Claire UK September 2013 issue. Her interview is a lot more toned down, honest and real than we were expecting though, and as a result there are some great quotes from the songstress in there. Expect Jessie to talk everything from quitting The Voice, falling in love, and being honest with children…
